This is probably a dumb question, but is there any chance of hooking the xbox 360 to a 24" imac?

A TV card should do this, correct? One of those USB jobbies. I can remember using an Xbox on a Dell with a Hauppauge TV card. But the big drawback, it was laggy because the TV mode was in a small windowed screen so when you enlargened it it looked like crap and performed bad.

Edit, now I think of it this would be a poor choice since the 360 would not be able to utilize HDTV mode even if you were to go through all this.

But you cannot use the iMac as a monitor for the 360, right?

Nope. I don't think there are any devices or software out there that will enable you to use your iMac's screen as a monitor to other computers / devices. If you know something that does let you do so, I do want to know too. Happy New Year.

Don't expect high-def, though - it'll be 480i resolution most likely.

Yeah, that's the problem. It's a shame though, having to play the 360 on my small 20" Dell screen when the 24" iMac is just sitting there, laughing at me...
