Hey guys,
I bought a Gamestop brand Xbox 360 wired controller today and have been trying for the past 5 hours to get it to work on my new iMac (10.6 Snow Leopard). I have exhausted every Google search result and have installed every driver known to man to make it work. I'm about to sell it out of frustration.
Long story short, I'm trying to play Bioshock (Mac DVD) with a wired Xbox 360 controller. Tattibogle drivers have not worked whatsoever (versions 0.07, 0.08, and 0.09 all fail), nor have any other 3rd party applications. Just for kicks, I rebooted into my Windows 7 Bootcamp, installed the Microsoft driver and the controller worked instantly. Clearly Xbox products are going to work well on Windows, but I want to play Bioshock (and hopefully other games in the future) on my Mac. It makes no sense why the Xbox controller is an option in the Bioshock controls (instead of mouse/keyboard) if it's this difficult to load the device...
Please help.
