I'm completely new to iOS development and have just bought a second hand Mac for the work I have in mind. As advised by the literature I've been reading, I've registered with Apple as a designer and went to download Xcode, SDK etc. The App Store came back with the message that my operating system is unsuitable. I appear to have Brick on my machine. Please can someone tell me what version of Xcode I should get? And what version of SDK do I need? Or would I be able to upgrade the operating system to suit current Xcode? Or is none of this possible and I have wasted all my money? ..... Ooh I hope not!
Many thanks,
Brian
I have discovered that my operating system is not Brick (that appears to be the name of the start-up disk! - silly me) it is OSX 10.6.8 AKA Snow Leopard. Apart from that, the question is the same as above. Can someone help please?
