Is it just me or sometimes randomly the xcode wont compile your file and throws the "No provisioned iPhone OS device is connected." Even though you have managed to test and exported the app on the same iPhone before.

Being through this..

after googling for solution , I found that it is a bug in 3.0 beta. All you need to do when you get such error is remove the provisinal profile using xocode--->window and reconnect your ipod and reinstall provinal profile.

I've also found turning your device off then back on sorts it as well.
This bug sometimes happens in 2.x as well. Turning the device off and on fixes it but then you have to go through all the hassle of iPhoto and iTunes launching, cancelling sync, etc...

Why isn't anything easy? :D

yeah xcode is broken :). I am new to Mac but i think it's ridiculous that it is doing this randomly.

But after 2 months of using a Mac and working with xCode the MOST ridiculous thing was when i get this error: "Failed to launch simulated application: Unknown error." I don't know whether to laugh or throw the mac book pro in the trash can.
