Have a XDR display connected to my 2019 Mac Pro. After the XDR display firmware update to 2.2.2 and MacOS update to 10.14 10.15.4, sometimes the XDR display won’t turn on when I first boot up the Mac Pro.

I have to do a hard reset before it works. Anyone having issues with the new firmware or 10.14?

For info (not directly related to your issue, but something similar), I have similar issue in Mojave before.

After something like 10.14.3 or 10.14.4 update, the monitor (Samsung CHG 90) occasionally can't wake up from sleep.

The work around is to pull and insert the display port cable when this happen. A bit annoying, but works.

And from 10.14.5 or 10.14.6, it fixed itself automatically (or Apple fixed something).

If you believe this is 10.15.4's issue, please report that to Apple.
