Guy's Just wondering if Xeon X5690 @ 3.47GHz processors will work in my 2008 Mac Pro. You see I got rid of my old Dell T7500, but I kept the 2 processors..

For the 2008 Mac Pro, the highest upgrade on the CPUs are two 3.2Ghz quad cores for 8 cores total. https://support.apple.com/kb/sp11?locale=en_US
