how is the battery life xp on a macbook..for basic word, exel, and powerpoint operations? and with wifi on?> is it better then macos?

I tend to lose about an hour of batterylife when in XP. I think maybe it has something to do with Apple's powermanagement support for XP. Don't know if the drivers they supplied don't support the speedstepping properly, although XP usually takes care of this fine on its own.

I played around with Vista a little on my MacBook and the battery life was worse in Windows than it is in OS X. I'd say around 45 mins worse.
