When I tired to install XP my screen went all weird and pixelated and nothing was legible on the XP install screen (the first blue screen).

I am running OSX 10.4.10 on a Quad 2.66 with ATI x1900

I am also installing this on a separate hard drive, this wouldn't be a problem would it? :(

How is your monitor hooked up? If it is through DVI then that is your most likely problem. I had to use a friends monitor that had VGA so I could install WinXP because nothing displayed or it was all messed up when using DVI.

I do believe this was a problem with some of the X1900XTs that were sent out. There was a post about this in the Mac Pro forum. I tried digging it up, but I can't seem to locate it.
