Will SP1 work with BootCamp? I don't mind the security issues, I will be upgrading to SP2 asap, I just need to get it installed and it says SP2 min

Will i be sorry because of that virus way back (and others)? Or compatability issues with the MBP or Boot Camp or something?

It doesn't install right, and you can't install the drivers on it. (i.e. lack of BC compatibility)

The result of trying to install XP SP1 on a Mac :-

I installed the original XP (no SP) onto a Mac mini. No problems!

SP1 will install fine and you can get drivers for the hardware BUT you can't upgrade to SP2. You get a message saying '4MB more space needed' even though there is gigs of empty space. I'm sure there must be an easy solution to the problem but slipstreaming is simple enough. I learned this the hard way.

Alright, thanks guys, I looked a bit harder and found a copy of SP2 laying around...
