XP OEM available if upgraded?

Hey guys,

I'm having some trouble trying to work this out. When I built my PC I also purchased an OEM version of XP. Since then, I upgraded to Vista Ultimate (which quite honestly I find to be a load of garbage). I now have a Mac Book Pro and am interested in using Boot Camp to install my OEM edition of XP. Is this possible? The license is no longer being used and I did pay for it so doesn't this mean that I should be able to continue using it?

Any help would be awesome

technically no... but you can activate by phone and get a new activation number if you answer the questions right

Sorry. Forgive my ignorance, but what sort of questions?

If the serial number doesn't work, you'll have to call MS. If you call MS, they'll probably ask you why you need a new serial number. If that's the case, tell them your hard drive failed and you just replaced it and need to reinstall windows. It worked for me.
