Just got Parallels 3.0 and now have to procure XP. (Hate to spend a ton of a money, inasmuch as I have 4 pc's in this house, all running XP.) Is there any compatibility difference with parallels between an OEM version of XP and a 'Full Retail' Version? (Would think not, but am made a little nervous by Parallels FAQ's re: potential problems, and comments at askdavetaylor.com.
So questions are:

1) ANY operational/compatibility difference between OEM and "Full Retail" XP for use with Parallels 3.0?

2) Any real functional difference between XP Pro and XP Home, for purposes of parallels? (I only need windows to run a few critical apps that aren't Mac compatible. If Pro just "works better", then it is worth the extra expense, but if the purpose of buying Pro is just to get the extra gadgets, etc., I don't need.)

Thanks very much!!

1) None. The only difference is in the license agreement. The OEM version is specific to the hardware (and is usually sold with a $2 fan or something like that).

2). No differences for your purposes.

Thanks flop. Very helpful.
