Hi all,

I'm a total Mac newbie and about to pull the trigger on a MBP 15" tomorrow. My questions are:

1) What size XP partition do people recommend I use?
2) I'm assuming it comes with a power adapter, so I won't need to buy one. Right?

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to working in OS X.

Michael

1) This is entirely up to you, how much do you feel you need for XP? XP takes up about 2.5-3GB with no programs installed after service packs and windows updates, so really, the size you want is 3GB + however much space you think you need for your programs.

2) Yes, it comes with a power adapter.

I also plan to buy a 15" macbook pro this week :)

I made my XP partition 15 gigs which I think is enough room for a couple of games and a few apps. also I would recomend MacDrive6. It lets you easily see all of your OSX files and it works great. I use it for listning to music on my windows partition from my osx partition.

congrats on getting your macbook pro your gonna love it
