So I just bought a new 256GB XR.

All seems great so far, but I noticed the vibration for incoming calls is a little odd.

Instead of about even 3/4 second vibrations with short, even pauses in between, this XR does very short, random length vibrations. It starts out with a few short vibes, then a 3/4 second, then more very short vibes.

After about 3 rings, it seems to be all very short vibes. (Phone is on vibrate only).

Is this normal on the XR (or all the latest phones now)?

My 5s always had evenly spaced approx 3/4 second vibes.

I just want to make sure I don't have a malfunctioning vibrating function.

Thanks for any input.

Have you checked what vibration pattern is selected for calls?
