XS Max Speakers

i came from the 7plus which had speakers in the bottom and top of the phone. I was playing music today and notice no music was coming from the top of the XS Max.

Is this correct of a flaw in the phone?

Sound should be coming out of the bottom right (while looking at the screen) as well as the earpiece speaker.

Make sure the highlighted setting in this photo is centered (should be by default).

It is centered but still no sound from top speaker.
