I have no option to turn on True Tone. The only option is night shift. It’s not in settings or when I pull down. Any ideas?

Restart your device or you may have to do a factory reset.
Restart didn’t help. Factory restart, seriously?
[doublepost=1537586679][/doublepost]True Tone doesn’t even come up if I search
[doublepost=1537587360][/doublepost]I reset all settings and still no True Tone
[doublepost=1537587502][/doublepost]I came right to work and the phone is still indexing and downloading, but True Tone should be there out of the box, yes?

Yes it should be there out of the box. If it’s not under display & brightness in settings or does not show up when you 3D Touch the brightness control in control center, and a reset all settings didn’t help, the last resort would be a factory reset.

I did a factory reset and True Tone is still not there. Looks like I’ll have to return this phone and wait for a new one.

When I first started up my phone upon receiving it, there was a setup segment that dealt specifically with True Tone. It allowed me to view a screen with and without True Tone. If you didn’t see that during setup then something is different about your phone from mine.

Why don't you call Apple support for help?
I talked to a sr advisor. He said this is an issue they know about and it’s software. I’m gonna call T-Mobile tomorrow and ask for a return

So did the Apple Sr. Advisor tell you to call T-Mobile? Because they will tell you to take it to Apple. I'm not sure why they did not set you up with a replacement and have you send your phone to them. What was the outcome of your support call?

I restored as a new iPhone THREE times and now it works. I’m baffled.

Did you check under display & brightness? It's certainly there.
Initially all I could access was night shift. I had an 8 plus with True Tone. It works on my wife’s x. No idea what happened, but it’s sorted for now.
[doublepost=1537597785][/doublepost]Ok now I rebooted just to see and sure enough True Tone is gone again what the hell

If T-Mobile doesn’t have any stock will they just order me a new one or how does this work? Never returned a phone. IF it takes more than 14 days to get one will I still be ok since I brought it to their attention now? Really bummed out.
