hi everyone.

I have a Xserve dual Xeon 2.93 "Eight Core" (Early 2009) sat in my storage collecting dust. Give me some ideas to repurpose this puppy please...

Specs are

Dual Xeon 2.9
24gb ram
3x 2tb hdd

Not interested in selling as shipping is costly and I'm sure I can find a better use for it.

Those are lovely machines. They can take the most memory of any Mac ever made. I think they max out at 192GB of RAM. I'll always be sad Apple left that line to die. Happy though that they are still supported by OS X.

I'll pay shipping and toss in $50, pm me :)

You could use it as a Plex server to serve your movies to all of your devices, or as a file server/time machine backup. Other than that, just seems like a room heater/noise maker.
