June has typically been the month when Apple has taken the lid off its latest, greatest iPhone, and if the rumors are true, this year will be no exception. But is June 22 really the big day? Also: If you've heard word of a supposed Verizon-enabled iPhone being tested in the U.S. recently, well ... don't get too excited just yet.

Engadget updated their report, they talked to the developer who now says that the results were from Verizon DSL/FiOS users.

^ Thought the same thing earlier. I think a Verizon phone will happen but not in June or July. Roll out a new one to AT&T first, keep all of us in check for a while. I know if they do I'd likely upgrade to AT&T and get my ass stuck back into a contract.

I think they will announce Verizon is coming it wont be in june id say it would more likely be November or some time next year. but give developers time to work on all there software to make sure everything is good to go.

And if it did come to Verizon, Apple wouldn't allow bloated Verizon v-cast garbage on it.

Verizon wants their bloatware on it. They want their name on the device. Apple doesn't allow any of that. Sure, Verizon's CEO can say that they would be glad to have it, but does that mean that Steve has gotten the bad taste out of his mouth from when Verizon showed them the door?

Please name a current smartphone that has been crippled down with Verizon bloatware. I'm curious.
