When you put a yahoo account in on iPhone by clicking the yahoo button in Mail setup it connects to imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com

When you click Other and enter that server manually you get invalid username password. I want to do it in other so I can specify a different reply to address. Anyone know if the iPhone does anything special when you do a yahoo account the normal way?

I'm not sure. But I did read a user had better (more expected) results by manually entering the standard yahoo server names imap.mail.yahoo.com and smtp.mail.yahoo.com. Maybe you'll have more luck.

Doesn't work for me that way either. I get a very long "verifying" and a password error. Also no you cannot enter a reply to address if you set it up as a yahoo! mail account. However that's the only way it seems to work.
