I cant seem to get it to work, did they change something in yosemite mail? Yahoo mail was working just fine in mavericks. I have a fresh install of yosemite

Nothing has changed that I am aware of. My Yahoo mail account set up without any problems in Mac Mail when I tested it.
I never had to tinker with the settings at all before when I add account I select yahoo and put in my user name and password, I have set up my new phone recently, same thing just username and password. but with yosemite it downloads messages as soon as I set it up but after that , nothing, says server is offline
