Since yesterday evening, my Yahoo Mail no longer works with Mail on MacOs or Ios, but it works with Outlook?!

I have a few email addresses, from different ISP's, and they all seem to use Yahoo's servers.

I've found that now and then, the connection gets flaky.
Can't describe it more "specifically" than that. Usually sending works, but receiving new mail doesn't.

It may stay that way a little while (sometimes even a couple of days), and then... it goes back to normal.

If there's "a fix", I haven't found it.
I just put up with it.

With Mail, you can send but not receive.

On the other hand, there are no problems with Outlook.

So, just wait and see?

I remember some months ago (not too many) about Yahoo changing something in their authentication process. If you're on an older Mac, or using an older version of the Mac OS, one had to go to a particular Yahoo page and create an "application specific password" which could then be used to create (or, "re-create") your account with Yahoo.

Seems I had to do this to get my older Mini (2018, still using Mojave) to work properly.

You didn't tell us:
WHICH Mac you have
WHAT YEAR it was made
WHAT VERSION of the OS you're using.

That can "make the difference".

Maybe onto something here.

Maybe not app specific password but Yahoo forcing OAuth? Just tried to pretend to add a Yahoo account to Mail and it brought up a sign-in screen ala Gmail, which uses OAuth for authentication.

So, maybe, OP needs to remove the Yahoo account and re-add it.
