Yahoo Messenger Problems

Every time I go to start Yahoo Messenger it will force quit after about a min or will just stop responding. I did an uninstall but it didn't help, Anyone else having problems and is there a work around.

Yahoo messenger always "unexpectedly crashes" when I go to quit it. To the point where I now expect it to unexpectedly quit all the time.

On Panther or Tiger, latest messenger release, didn't matter.

I gave up on Yahoo Messenger a long time ago. I use AdiumX on Macs, and Gaim on PCs/Linux. You can use your Yahoo IM account with them.

You don't get video messaging, but that's not a big loss.

I didn't know mac users had something with worked with Yahoo AND AIM plus others. I just downloaded now, thanks !
