Yahoo to put adverts in PDF files

Yahoo has reached a deal to start running advertisements in Adobe's popular PDF document-reading format.

Curious as to how this will work… Hopefully we'll have some control over what ads appear in our documents!

Quoting myself from another thread, but anyway...

It will suck huge donkey butt no matter what platform you're on. It's the most ridiculous idea I've heard it quite some time.

Google are out there creating and improving their various products constantly, and Yahoo decide to respond by embedding ads in their pages that require a 3rd party application to be installed and running. It's complete idiocy.

Just as well I haven't been anywhere near Yahoo in many years.

In conclusion, Yahoo are stinky poo poo heads.
