iPod yamipod - iTunes 8 and iPod nano 4G adventures

Hello,
I got my iPod nano 4G yesterday and I put 2 GB of music on it using iTunes 8. I've just tried using yamipod and added two songs with it. Now the iPod doesn't see any songs but says that the capacity is 2/8 GB used.

When I run again yamipod, I can see all the songs there; If I run iTunes 8, it says that I have to restore my iPod.

Is it, in theory, possible to use both iTunes and yamipod ?

The yamipod "choose your ipod generation", there is "4G" and "Nano" ... which one shall i use with a Nano 4G

Any ideas why I can"t see my songs anymore ?

well I managed to restore my library using the repair function of yamipod:

I tried again to add some songs and again the library was corrupted. So it looks like yamipod is not compatible with iTunes 8.
