I got a QC2 back in 04 and had to replace it in 05 because the hinges were cracking. Bose sent me a replacement in two days. The replacement also lasted another yeah and recently cracked again last month. I thought i'd be outta luck but it turns out there's a two year guarntee on these products.
So i phoned Bose up again and explained the situation and they sent a new one out to me..no question asked. Received it today and its brand spanking new, you can smell the leather cushions.mmmmm.
Turns out paying that premium was somewhat worth it after all. Just hope this one doesnt crack as well cos my warranty runs out in November.
PS if i get a replacement for a product then logically the new product should carry the same two year warranty right?..since its new. Also in parallel, if your logic board gets replaced by Apple, shouldn't the new logic board carry the same 1yr limited warranty or am i just dreaming??
