Yearly Cleaning?

I was talking to someone today and they told me that i should get my MBP cleaned out once a year? Is this true? And if so, how much does something like that cost?

I wouldn't open it unless necessary. Eventually, the fan blades will collect some dust, but (depending on environment) takes a long time. The only other place might be the optical drive, but again - if it's working fine, I'd leave it alone.

I especially wouldn't pay someone, but that's just me and I'm used to working on them. It's not hard to open, but tedious.
