So the M1 announcement was great, it’s what was needed to take the Mac line in a new direction.

As soon as it was announced I had three people message; M2 next year, updated yearly like iOS processors?

If the M1 is based on A14 - do we think this is a shift to Macs being updated yearly like the iOS devices have been.

That strategy doesn’t sound too ridiculous.

They were a bit busy with the M-silicon. And they thought miniLED would be ready sooner.

Anyway, I do expect them to hit a yearly cadence. All the work they put into new cores for iPhones can also be used on all their other hardware now, and they are no longer beholden to Intel and it’s constant missing of its own roadmaps.
