Yellow/purple/ghosting???

Hello,

I'm looking forward to buy a 27" 5K iMac but I think it's kind of scary all the things I read here like yellow/purple tint, ghosting and shade...

And some people have no problem.

I already asked the Apple Specialist on Live Chat and she said that Apple will be able to look at it if it happens to me. I don't know if it will happen in the 14 days period and what can be done to the screen and under the warranty.

Any way to reassure me?

I wish there was a good answer on whether you will experience it or not. You could just bite the bullet and take the chance. OR you can choose another machine (not iMac). I'm biting the bullet and will deal with it as it comes up. So far my computer looks good (only had a few hours).

Still worth more than 21.5" with no upgradable RAM? Agreed? I think I'm going to go with 27". If we all ignore the 27" because of a yellow tint I think they are gonna fail with that model.
