Yellow screen cover-up?

I wonder what happened to Mark Wilson's heroic efforts to expose this ridiculous manufacturing issue over at Gizmodo (http://gizmodo.com/5436442/apple-has-thwarted-my-efforts-so-i-need-your-help). He promised in his last post an update every week until apple fixed the problem, but there has been no update since 12/29.

My guess is that Apple sent their legal goons over to Gawker headquarters to shut them up. Either that or they threatened to pull advertising. Anyone with any insight into this?

Why not ask Mark Wilson directly, by phone or e-mail?
If Steve Jobs or his team can make time to respond to people here, I'm sure the likes of Mark Wilson can find a few moments to respond to questions from the very people he has told "I need you..."
