dayton, oh
I am noticing a slight yellow tinge or is it my eyes it is mostly in the center of the screen but as the screen gets brighter goes away to not noticeable mostly noticeable as screen is on lower brightness is this normal.

If you can deal with it, then keep it. If not, call Apple to exchange it for a new one. I heard that many of them have different problem so if it's not really bad, I suggest to keep it. You might get a worse one, it all depends on how lucky you are. Kinda sad right ? :D

for 2009 iMac refurbs, it is quite normal.

I ended up sending it back for refund and ordered a new i7 they were nice about it and gave me expedited shipping and 10% off new one . No problems returning it hopefully have new one this week

That's a really good deal. Hope my new Refurb iMac would have a lot of problems so that I can change it for a new one like you :p

Yeah my friend say the same thing just got a very nice apple rep that felt sorry about the refurb yellow tinge and I did not even ask for the discount just the rush shipment

Shoot, my new i7 has issues.

Yellow tint, cracked LCD, gray streak along the bottom. Not at all worth $2K IMO

I'm picking my i7 Refurb at TNT's satellite today... I really hope it'll be perfect...If not, not sure what I want to do. Try another refurb or try to negotiate a new one with a discount.

I'm a long time Apple customer, I wonder if that kind of argument works? I can honestly say I've had very few problems with my :apple: products. Hopefully, that will not end soon!
