Hi there,

I bought my iphone unlocked from a guy named Ali. (I know what you guys must be thinking...:p) The iphone was unlocked and works fine. But since OS 3.0 I've been wondering if my iphone is unlocked with Yellowsnow or not. Does anyone know how I can track this?

Well... as I understand it,

- If you upgraded to 3.0 yourself and it remained unlocked after the update, it was not Yellowsn0w.

- If you pop open the SIM tray and there's a TurboSIM in there, it was not Yellowsn0w.

- If (AFAIK....) there's no Cydia on the iPhone, it also probably isn't YellowSn0w.

Well, no Cydia COULD mean that he used Poof, hid Cydia, Installer and Poof... However that's totally backwards about why you unlock a phone for someone. If Cydia is there it doesn't mean yellowsn0w was used. Just go to "Manage>>Packages" and if it's in there it was used. :) Hope that helps.
