Okay, I've been playing around with iCloud Drive for several weeks now. I've been able to put both folders and files within the root iCloud Drive itself. My Numbers and Pages folders are empty. Has anyone else done this and if so, have you tried to delete the empty Numbers and Pages folders? I really don't want or need them, since all my Pages and Numbers files are in other folders in the root folder. But I'm concerned that it might mess up something if I delete the Pages and Numbers folders. I guess I could try it and see what happens since I have backups of everything in DropBox, but thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has tried this. FWIW, I have both pdf's, txt and jpg files stored out on iCloud Drive but do not have Preview or Text folders.

those are app folders designed to work with the icloud drive enabled apps. Apple wants you to store your files in the apps and app folders... I don't care for the design personally and I think they should change it to allow users to organize files as they see fit.
