Mine's about 20 to the "Loading Mac OSX" since I have auto logon.

The whole thing from pusing my power button to useable finder took a little less than 40 seconds.

My iBook, from the end of the chime to a usable Finder, everything loaded and ready to go is ~55 seconds.

Amazed at the MacBook boot up, it didn't even show a black screen for a bit before the grey apple screen. Right to the grey apple screen and BAM, TADAAAA!!!

Awesome!

I was really impressed with the boot up time going from a 1.8 iMac to a 1.8 intel iMac.

only, after using it for a month or so, and filling up a little of the hard drive the boot time has slowed down.

installing boot camp just kills all the fun though lol

Well, I didn't time the initial boots, but after my software installs and customization it's still lightning fast.

Timed now it's 22 seconds (to the desktop everything loaded). And that includes typing in my password at the login screen  :D

The speed of everything in my MBP17 (2.16) blows away my poor G4 PB :)
