Hey guys,

There might be a post about this but i have failed at finding it.

I updated to 10.10.3 Beta last week and the second my MBP turned back on, i started getting 2 consecutive pop up windows in my Chrome. I cant think of what the pop ups are of but they are mostly of the same 3 or 4 websites. usually the same pop up in both windows. One is a "security" alert, another is often about updating my flash, etc.

Has this happened to anybody else?

I had never had a pop up, ever, until the second my MBP rebooted post-update.

Help!! It's driving me nuts!!

If you aren't using a pop up blocker, I suggest Adguard extension in addition to Javascript blocker. All are free and can be found in the Safari extension library.

To check for and remove any current adware on your Mac, download and install AdwareMedic. Also, make sure to remove the cookies from the offending sites in Safari.

Thanks for the quick reply, however, as I don't use Safari, I don't think that will work. I use Chrome and already have 3 versions of AdBlock running in it that block everything else.
