Under Maverick, I was able to keep the lid of my rMBP closed and work off the two external monitors (Apple TBD and Dell U2410). After upgrading to the Public Beta of Yosemite, I am forced to keep the lid of there rMRP open. When I close it, all the screens shut down.

After installing Yosemite, I can no longer use my 2011 MacBook Pro in clamshell mode, so I'm back on Mavericks. When I have both the laptop screen and external monitor on after login, my usual way to proceed was to choose sleep mode, then close the laptop after sleep, then wake it and I'm on the external monitor only. With Yosemite, when I try to wake the computer I get a blurry screen with no way to login. Opening the laptop, the laptop screen doesn't come on, so no way to login. If I then shut it down with the power button, the restart freezes less than halfway in. Does anyone know how to fix this without buying something extra? It should work.
