So I have FileVault turned on so there are two separate passwords...one to decrypt and one to access my user account.

The issue I am having is when the MBP goes to hibernation and I turned it back on, it goes to the FileVault login screen (looks like a greyed out version of the normal login screen)...when it does so it is VERY hard to read anything or see anything on that screen. It is all very faint. I will try and get a screenshot or photo to show it better, but maybe someone here has an idea.

It is a cMBP Mid-2012 running 10.10.2.

how many accounts are enabled for FV? Weird to have 2 accounts if there's only your account on the Mac.

Look at Sys Prefs > Security > FileVault

One account only. Sorry, I must have not been clear. It is one account, but you enter a password twice when it wakes up from hibernation, one to unlock the FileVault and then again to login to the user account.
