Yosemite and Find my iPhone issue

if i go to iCloud.com from my macbook yosemite, and go to find my iPhone (...maps isn't available") message its shown...even for the macbook
But if i go to Maps app, it does show my location..

Weird, all I can think of is you are in an area where they don't have maps coverage but the IOS variant does????

On my iPhone or iPad it is working and it find my macbook as well ...vey weird
