Since upgrading to Yosemite, macbook air 13 inch is having some troubles with word and excel. Namely when I go to 'save as' the programs crash every time!!!
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Try uninstalling Office and reinstalling it. Check disk permissions in Disk Utility and/or create a new OS X user account and see if they crash there too.

Do you have all the latest updates installed for Office?

Reinstalling is a purchase from App Store.
for some reason logging onto new 0S X account is safari only??
sorry struggling to understand a lot of this :/

If you are running Office 2011 and bought the digital download, you can download it again for free on Microsoft's site. Same goes for Office 365.
