Hello everyone, so here is my problem: I´m trying to connect Sony SRS-X5 bluetooth speaker to my MacBook Air which has Yosemite 10.10.1 with no luck.

My iPhone 6 finds the speaker but Air don´t. I reset the PRAM and it did not help either. I would appreciate if someone could help me with this case?

I contacted Sony customer care but they did not know the answer - they just said that Yosemite might not be compatible. The speaker is brand new from mid 2014 so it´s not even outdated.

Is there any tips I could still try? Thank in advance!

Can your Air connect to any other bluetooth devices? I've got a Harman Kardan bluetooth speaker have no problems connecting from my 10.10.1 system.

Yes
You turned off bluetooth on the iPhone 6 while trying to pair with the Mac?
Despite it being 2015, pairing with one device can still sometimes interfere with pairing to another. I just ran across this problem while trying to pair a USB keyboard a couple days ago.
