Having troubling Bluetooth issues on rMBP Late 2013
2.6 Intel Core i7

Everything was fine when I upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, but wanted to get handoff working
I toggled Bluetooth off and back on and lost my mouse, keyboard and trackpad

I have since been able to restore the mouse and keyboard
But that has required multiple attempts and pairing, turning BT on/off, devices on/off etc.
Still no joy on the trackpad
It is either not found or won't connect if it is found

And on my iPhone 5, my MBP is listed, but it won't connect

Any thoughts?

I have restarted, shut down and restarted
Toggled BT on/off repeatedly
Turned devices on/off repeatedly and removed batteries
I have removed from the BT list and attempted re-pair them

I could use a fresh approach if anyone has a suggestion
Thanks

Update:

As of now I have the keyboard and mouse connected
And my iPhone is connected (but not handing off)

I cannot get the trackpad connected
Usually won't find it, but if it does, it fails to pair

The iPad mini will not connect to the MBP
Or to the iPhone

I have since reset the PRAM as well (why not, right?)

Any thoughts?

Update:

Ran this in Terminal (found on another forum)

sudo kextunload -b com.apple.iokit.BroadcomBluetoothHostControllerUSBTransport
sudo kextload -b com.apple.iokit.BroadcomBluetoothHostControllerUSBTransport

meh, was finally able to connect the trackpad

so...

keyboard, mouse and trackpad reconnected
iPad is connected but doesn't handoff :(
will see what iOS 8.1 does for that

iPhone still won't connect to MBP or iPad
