Ever since I upgraded to Yosemite, I have lost the ability to type on Facebook.

The page loads as normal, everything is normal apart from i cant write statuses, comment on things etc. It's as though there's no signal from the keyboard.

I haven't noticed it on any other site.

Anyone got any guesses what could be up?

First thing to try is shut down the computer for about 10 minutes then restart. I doubt that will fix it, but sometimes it does wonders.

Any browser plugins installed? If so, try de-activating them to see if that fixes the problem. If it does, re-activate the plugins one at a time until the problem comes back... which will tell you which plugin/extension is causing the problem.

If that doesn't fix the problem, try deleting your Facebook cookies from your browser, and deleting the Facebook account from your iCloud prefs panel. Then add it all back.

If that still doesn't fix the problem, then there's something going on that would be extremely difficult to diagnose over the internet unless someone else experienced the same problem, found the solution, and just happens to see this thread on MacRumors.

Can you take it in to an Apple Store?

EDIT: It was probably Adblock/Adblock Plus. Used to have a similar thing with 'Facebook Chat' when I ran Adblock Plus on ML with Firefox.
