All,

I have a mid-2012 MBP with 1680x1050 hi-res display. Has anyone had the opportunity to view Yosemite on this display? How does it look? I've read some about the Retina display giving the best appearance with the new Yosemite fonts. I've also read that non-Retina displays give Yosemite's new fonts less "sharpness". I searched the Forum, but couldn't find any info...

Cheers!

I am in a Mid-2010 with HD Matte Display (that's 1680x1050) and I think it looks great. Fonts are a little smaller than I would have picked, but they are sharp.

PS Apple refers to my display as "Antiglare"

joedec,

Thank you! I've got my Yosemite usb install stick ready to go. I think I'll go ahead and carve out a little room on the HD and give it a go!

Cheers!
