Has anyone else noticed that after updating to Yosemite, the swipe gestures with the magic mouse/trackpad are different?

It seems for me that the borders have changed, so that unless i make sure to keep my finger as straight as an arrow up/down when scrolling in chrome, it causes the page to go back or forward. It was far more forgiving with previous OSX versions, as you'd have to really deliberately swipe left or right to activate that gesture.

This is driving me insane! Any suggestions appreciated.

Aside from this issue, i'm getting full system crashes about once a week with yosemite. First issue i've ever experienced with any OSX version in over a year of owning my first macbook. Not loving this update so far

Yeah when doing a 2-finger-horizontal swipe in Safari to go back or forward, it almost never works now and I really have to be horizontal otherwise it will just scroll. In Mavericks this always worked easily, now it only works like once in every 10 attempts. Not because it doesn't work, but because it's expecting a much more strictly horizontal swipe rather than a looser one that can go slightly wonky. I preferred Mavericks gestures.

Also gestures seem to stop working randomly altogether, but that's another issue.
