My install has been stuck for 2.

the progress bar is at 50% (grey background with only Apple logo).

What should I do?

I had Mavericks fully updated on MBA late 2010 before proceeding to the install today

----------

Is it safe to reboot on that screen?

(Hold power button down)

Same thing happened to me... I held the Power button until it shut down, then restarted. I had to do it twice, then it finally completed.

Oh good #

I thought I had lost countless hours of restoring #

Just did the same thing.

It went to the install screen now and says 17minutes remaining. Good thing I have a couple hours left before bed haha

Yosemite intallation stuck

I started installing Yosemite and the instalation program asked to close all applications I pressed yes and continue. Now it's been stuck for about three hours. I got a blank screen with a spinning wagon Wheel. Ca I reboot pressing the power button? Is it safe?
