Hi,

I was just installing the latest public beta of Yosemite on my 2010 MacBook Pro fitted with two 256 GB SSD's. Suddenly I got this message saying:

"OSX couldn't be installed on this computer.

The given disc has a storage system (such as AppleRAID) which is not supported for this operation.

Restart the installation program to turn off the computer and try again."

I tried, yeah, but of course it opens up the installationprogram once again, and as by now I can't get onto my Mavericks-partition.

The two discs is in RAID 0.

Where do I go from here, if I would like to get onto my Mavericks partition - and stupidly enough haven't made a timemachine-backup?

So just to confirm, you have a RAID 0 config with no backups at all?

What is stopping you from starting up in Mavericks? What is the computer saying?

I would just reinstall sans the software RAID. Apple's RAID software has never been the greatest RAID support. You can't even use File Vault with it. If you really want to increases HD speed go with a SSD. Expensive but faster, less potential compatibility problems and FAR more reliable than RAID 0.
