Yosemite Internet Speed WOEFUL!!

Since upgrading to Yosemite my internet speed is disgusting. I have a late 2012 27" imac and loading webpages whilst downloading large mail files doesnt work..

My wife's and daughters windows laptops are just fine same speed as what I had prior to upgrading, so its not my provider, modem or connection...its YOSEMITE.... anyone have this problem or knows a fix... please.

Do a clean install. That seems to straighten out various upgrade issues.

Are you connecting on WiFi or ethernet?

What does a clean install involve? reloading all my software??? If I do it.... how do you do it... sorry, not very mac savvy

My internet speed is great, however...
Recently I've been seeing lots of duplicated IP address errors on my iMac,
I do have lots of devices in my family that were connected on my Wifi though, (iMac, MacBook Pro/ Retina, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPad 3,Nintendo 3DS, PC, PC Laptop, you name it...) The issue however, was never seen under Mavericks.

Today my internet have been hanging from time to time, I have to manually reconnect to resolve it.
