Yosemite messages/handoff

Hello guys,

How do I send messages from Yosemite, that are not through iMessage?
I've set Handoff up on both my phone and my Macbook, but I still can't sent any messages, it always chooses iMessage..

I think that's coming in iOS 8.1, out today.

Hmm.. Still can't send them without its iMessage..

I figured it out now - It was with iOS 8.1 yes.
Just had to log in to imessage.
