I just installed a spare GTX 760 GPU I had around to see how it would perform in my cMP. After installing the latest nVidia web driver (Yosemite GM2), it does not allow me to select my display's native resolution. It limits me to 2560x1080. Anyone know why this is and how I can fix it? The OS X native driver supports my full res.

The display is a LG 34UM95.

Actually figured this out. The monitor needs to be set in Displayport 1.2 mode in order for OS X to see the native resolution.

But still doesn't give me the option to run the audio through the speakers in my monitor. Is there any way to get that working? My Mac Pro is on the 5,1 firmware.

For anyone else who finds this thread wondering about "missing" resolutions in Yosemite, Option-Click the bubble for the Scaled setting and it will toggle showing many more resolutions. I had to do this to get any 16:10 resolutions to show up for my 16:10 CRT.

This wouldn't have helped Zorn but may help others who find the thread. Not sure about the HDMI audio problem. That doesn't show up as a audio out destination on my machine either.
