Yes. I upgraded mavericks to yosemite on an 11" 2011 mba. It works pretty good on that.

I also did a clean install onto a partition on a 2010 mbp which now dual boots yosemite and mountain lion, which also works pretty good.

I have also made a virtual machine of yosemite in vmware fusion, but that doesn't work very well.

Yes, I've got it installed on a partition of my 13" MBA 2011.

The usual beta caveats aside, like tywebb13 above, I find it's pretty stable too.

Awesome. Sounds pretty good for DP1 :D

My main concern is battery life and GPU performance (not in terms of hardcore gaming or anything in particular, but more smooth browsing)

Can you describe these?

The issue with vmware fusion would be related to Yosemite including a new Hypervisor framework that vmware and parallels will support in the future.

I guess at this point I'm more curious how DP2 runs on 2011 Air since it just came out.

But those are still main concerns in the previous post ^^

DP2 is very smooth on my mid 2011 13 inch MBA, much better than DP1 and comparable to Mavericks :D

Are you enjoying the upgrades so far?

Glad to hear on par with Mavs, was gonna say this air+mavs has been smooth sailing.

but i've been too hesitant to even go from 10.9.2 to 10.9.3 since everything works great as is

I'm going to have to wait on Continuity as I won't go iOS 8 until jailbreak, unless I prematurely get an iPhone 6.

The scrolling on DP2 is pretty much as smooth as you could possibly imagine :)

Overall it's very smooth and I think it's even faster than Mavericks, which had that annoying stuttering when scrolling in launchpad.

Mid-2011 MBA

Even the DP2 works just fine on this machine. I had a few issues with Safari crashing on the first preview, but hasn't done that all day today since I installed DP2. :apple:

I sort of feel the same way on a 2010 MBA 13" with 4gb RAM. Pretty darn good with DP2. Completely useable and doesn't feel much different speed wise compared to Mavericks. I'm using it as my new daily driver and happy so far.
