Hey guys, I have a 2014 rmbp 13inch 128.

I want to upgrade to Yosemite, although I am wondering will i lose another 5G worth of space? For example I have 63.35GB space remaining and with Yosemite being 5g, will be left with 58.35GB after i update?

Thanks.

I'm on the same machine and I didn't see a noticeable hit in space. Doesn't most of that 5g replace old code rather than append to it?

It does? Sweet, I wasn't aware of that. I'm just a bit hesitation in regards to updating to the already limited space. Thanks for that though :)

I don't know for sure...but that's what I thought. I guess wait until others post their results to be sure, but I think you'll find it worth it even if you do use some more space.
