Yosemite is running beyond amazing on my 21.5" iMac (Late 2013, 2.9-3.6Ghz i5, 8GB of RAM, 1TB HDD, 750m). All animations are buttery smooth and quite a bit better than Mavericks which was already smooth. Overall, I am very impressed with the performance, how about you?

I'm guessing that mine will work great as well. My assumption is based on how few issues I have run in to in the past with doing clean installations vs the times that I have upgraded from one OS to the next. It's a little annoying to do that. But I keep the files and drives pretty free from clutter. I only have to do one quick back up and then 30 min of installing apps. It's very easy to do that with the apps that I have from the App Store. I just wish some of the other programs I have, like 1Password, would let me have the App Store option but I know that I can't because they offer discounts for your account the longer you have it. For example, to go from 1P v3 to 1P v4 was $19.99 and from what I remember the users in the App Store didn't get that price.

I just done a standard install from Mavericks. All apps are working fine, a few Adobe apps needed Java to be updated though. My mac feels even faster than when I first got it!
